Highlands at Westerleigh

Meet Starts at 6:30 PM

Swimmer Check in with Coach Claire starting at 5:15.

Volunteer Check in starting at 5:15.

Location: Westerleigh Pool

Parking:Please do not park in the Westerleigh pool parking lot. We will leave our pool parking lot for the visiting team. You may park on Easter Road or the side streets, but not on Westerleigh Parkway. Do not block someone's driveway. Thank you for your help with this.

Pool Rules in Effect During Swim Meets:
No one is permitted in the zero entry, slide area or any pool areas attached to the main pool during swim meets.
Swimmers are only allowed in the main pool during warm-ups and events in which they are participants.
Lifeguards will be on duty and enforcing pool rules during the swim meet. Swimmers are representing our neighborhood, so make sure they are following the directions of other adults and coaches.

Pool Seating during the Meet:
The Highlands will sit on the right-hand side of the pool (the side opposite of the water slide) and they will spill over into the grassy areas outside of the pool deck. Westerleigh families, please only sit on the left-hand side of the pool (closest to the water slide). We remove all chairs and tables to make room for all guests, so please plan on bringing blankets and/or camp chairs. 

Food/Concessions:
We will have 2 food trucks available. Timber Pizza will be there along with a dessert food truck.

5:55-6:15 Highlands warmups

6:15 Strokes and Turns briefing (behind the blocks) first and second half to attend

6:15 Timer's briefing (at clerk of course, behind the slide)

6:20 First event gets called to clerk of course

6:25 Anthem is played- Ripple Race (developmental swimmers race) following anthem. 

Westerleigh at Founders Bridge

Meet Starts at 6:30

Location: 601 Founders Bridge Boulevard Midlothian, VA 23113 (Across the street from Independence Golf Course)

Parking:Please don't park in the Independence parking lot or on Founders Bridge Boulevard.Our parking lot is prioritized for the visiting team.

Important times:

Facility:

• 25 meter pool, 6 lanes
• Bathrooms are available in the the pool house
• Baby pool and adult pool will be closed during the meet
• Outside food/drink permitted, but NO GLASS ALLOWED ON POOL DECK

General:

• Clerk of Course: Under the blue tent. All swimmers regardless of age should in with clerk of course when their events are called.
• Timing table: Next to Lane 1 (lane 1 is closest lane; Lane 6 is the farthest lane)
• Computers/Tables: On back deck of clubhouse (top of the stairs)
• Visiting Team seating: in front of white columns and around the adult pool
• Home Team Seating: on slide side

Concessions: snacks, candy, water, drinks, frozen treats available for sale as well as a hot food item (usually pizza and/or Chick-fil-a sandwiches). Concessions accepts cash and credit cards.
